Hi, I’m Lenti.
I’m a food connoisseur based in Palo Alto with one very specific obsession: finding the best boba within a ten-mile radius of home. Not the trendiest, not the most photogenic — the best.
The Mission
Palo Alto sits in one of the densest boba corridors in the country. Drive ten miles in any direction and you pass dozens of shops — humble neighborhood counters, slick international chains, dessert houses, and the latest hyped import with a line around the block.
So I’m drinking my way through all of them. Every cup gets a fair shake and an honest score. I order each shop’s signature drink the way it’s meant to be had, take notes while it’s fresh, and rate it on the same six things every single time. No sponsorships, no freebies clouding the verdict — just one person who cares a great deal about a properly chewy pearl.
The Rubric
Every shop is scored 0–10 on six dimensions. Tea and pearls carry the most weight — they’re the soul of the drink — and the weighted average becomes the overall score.
